Regolo looks at Appiani’s ceramic material from a new, fresh, clean perspective, in a harmonious balance of forms, functions and chromatic expressions. With Regolo, Appiani’s research explores flat surfaces and structured geometries that maintain their enigmatic possibility of interpretation.
The Ultramatte matt finish highlights the materiality of flat surfaces, the value of the essential, of purity, as an invitation to meditation and creative freedom. The nine shades – Panno, Lunaria, Ardesia, Ossido, Ceruleo, Cipria, Mattone, Tanè, Tabacco – give a light touch and soft plays of light. The thickness of 7.2 mm and the 7.5 x 30 cm format guarantee perfect modularity with the Appiani mosaic collections in 1.2 x 1.2 cm, 2.5 x 2.5 cm and 5 x 10 cm. The Flat version represents the natural background of every Appiani collection, while the Textured ones guarantee unique combinations of their kind
