ARCHITETTURA by Gruppo Bardelli wins ADI Booth Design Award at Cersaie 2025
Architecture as Language, Ceramic as Structure
On the occasion of Cersaie 2025, from September 22 to 26 – HALL 30 | A58-B57, Gruppo Bardelli unveils a new exhibition concept: a total architecture that brings together the brands Ceramica Bardelli, Ceramica Vogue, and Appiani in a single spatial narrative.
An immersive installation that tells the story of the new collections through material, form, and color, in a project that places the architectural potential of ceramics at its core.
A 20-meter-long architectural structure, fully clad on the exterior with 10 x 10 cm tiles in a light beige tone, the color of raw ceramic, welcomes visitors.
The Vogue System by Ceramica Vogue, in a custom color, forms the outer skin, becoming a manifesto of a new visual language shared across all three brands.
Inside, a visual journey unfolds through totems, cuts of light, and chromatic layering, developed as a calibrated architectural sequence.
Every element is designed to create dialogue between the collections, establishing perceptual hierarchies between dimensions, textures, and colors.
From the blue of Ceramica Bardelli’s Sinfonia in the 10×10 cm format and the Sea Maioliche line from Acquatic Creatures, to the deep bordeaux of the Flautini and Vogue System collections by Ceramica Vogue; from the green of Sinfonia 10×20 cm by Ceramica Bardelli and Pastelli by Appiani, to the yellow of Ritmo by Ceramica Bardelli and Coriandoli by Appiani; and finally to the sand tones of Mongolfiere and Atlantis City from Acquatic Creatures by Ceramica Bardelli, each totem showcases new colors and materials, creating a play of contrasts between matte and glossy finishes, and between flat and dimensional surfaces.
Horizontal and vertical cuts within the totems reveal glimpses of the collections, generating a rhythmic, layered experience.
Forms become surfaces, and surfaces become structure.
The distinctive traits of each brand emerge: Appiani’s modular and versatile approach, Ceramica Bardelli’s decorative vocation, and Ceramica Vogue’s design-driven use of color.
“With ARCHITETTURA by Gruppo Bardelli, we chose to present ceramics in its purest essence: not just as a covering, but as structure and language. The booth interprets our values through minimalism, a search for proportion, and harmony of perspectives, uniting the three brands in a single vision where color, decoration, and modularity become tools of architecture and design.“
– Gianmaria Bardelli, CEO – Gruppo Bardelli
“This architecture stems from a silent yet intentional gesture — a gesture designed to let the ceramics speak for themselves. An architectural language with a strong graphic component, it makes ceramics the very structure of the project and marks a new chapter for Gruppo Bardelli.”
– Leonardo Talarico, Art Director
