Distortion is a porcelain stoneware tile – with a super-matt finish thanks to the no-reflex glazes – which reinterprets Seletti’s iconic black and white pattern in its motifs and geometries, drawing inspiration from the imagination of Maurits Cornelis Escher and the paradoxical perspectives, the hypnotic patterns, the perceptive short circuits characteristic of his works.
Distortion is ideal for floor applications in which the optical effect of “distortion” is expressed to the maximum: through the combination of square modules measuring 14×14 cm and rhomboidal modules measuring 14×24 cm – mounted on fiberglass mesh – the image of the classic lady is thus transformed, allowing the creation of an infinite variety of compositions and unexpected optical effects.
