TORTONA lab | Milano
Where design meets material
A new space for architecture and bespoke design
In the heart of Milan’s Design District, at Via Tortona 34, TORTONA LAB is born: a productive and design ecosystem that brings together Made in Italy excellences – Gruppo Bardelli, EX.T, QD Magistro Lab, Springbox and Giulio Tanini – creating a unique space dedicated to architecture and interior design professionals.
A new concept of exhibition space
TORTONA LAB is not a traditional showroom, but a shared laboratory where design becomes experience, dialogue, and co-creation.
Here, partner companies and designers work side by side to transform ideas into bespoke solutions — from the concept phase to the final realization of the product.
For Gruppo Bardelli, TORTONA LAB represents a strategic step in strengthening its relationship with the world of designers.
Within this space coexist the three souls of the Group — Ceramica Bardelli, Ceramica Vogue, and Appiani — each bringing its own expertise in aesthetic research, technological innovation, and Italian ceramic craftsmanship.
In this place, architects and designers can:
-
develop custom projects and dedicated mock-ups;
-
receive technical and material support at every stage of the project;
-
collaborate and exchange ideas with industry experts;
-
explore new combinations of materials, surfaces, and colors.
A productive ecosystem serving design
TORTONA LAB was born from the synergy between complementary realities of Italian design.
Its goal is to offer a space where production expertise meets design creativity, generating integrated and sustainable solutions for the residential, contract, and hospitality sectors.
“Not a showroom, but a meeting place.
Where design meets material, and material turns into creation.”
— Gianmaria Bardelli, Marketing & R&D Director, Gruppo Bardelli
